Evermoist™AGG-50G is an aqueous solution consisting of 2-O-α-D-glucosylglycerol (AGG). AGG is characterized by high thermo-stability, low Maillard reactivity, and high water-holding capacity. AGG has been found in some traditional Japanese foods such as sake, miso and mirin, brewed by using koji. Evermoist™AGG-50G functions as an osmolyte to protect skin cells.
